Description
2nd generation of the Cure, made for the streets. Utilizing it’s new design to the pursuit geometry style, and the improved tapered head tube, the Cure is going to that great entry level bike for all. Still supporting Dr. Lowy and his research in the fight to cure cancer, part of the proceed will be going to his cancer research at the UCSD Moores Cancer Center. Because a little more than two years ago, Sal Lambroso, founder and owner of Leader Bikes, embarked on a battle with pancreatic cancer. After the diagnosis, the cancer research facilities at UC san Diego began administering treatment. Dr. Andrew Lowy, a world-renowned surgeon at UCSD Moores Cancer Center known for his work with pancreatic cancers, was able to successfully cure Sal and put him on the path to recovery.
- Tapered headtube: Uses 1.5” diameter lower stack and 1-1/8” diameter upper stack. Better handling, more stiffness, and keeps up with new market standards.
- Track geometry: Uses track geo based on NJS frames with new shortened top tube for a easier riding position and a smoother street ride.
- Pursuit design: Unique design for more aggressive street riding.
- Integrated head logo: New headtube mold, that gives the headbadge and embossed look and feel. The new headbages will also be color matched to every color frame.
- 7layered high quality water painting: A paint designed to last. With street riding you never know what you frame ill endure. This paint will help prevent any chips and scratches to the frame.
- Ultimate double butted tubing: To be lighter, tubing is made thinner, and to be stronger, certain areas to the tubing are reinforced with more alloy.
